Malaysia’s F&B scene is infamous for riding on the tides of social media popularity and instagram-worthy attractiveness. But the market is now getting over-saturated with these and social media fads can only get you so far. What’s important about places like The Bee, and others like No Black Tie and Gaslight, is that they cultivate non-mainstream forms of art, music and sub-culture.
